Complete Tutorial for root on Sony Xperia Z1

The former flagship of the Japanese Sony (we have among us the Xperia Z2 presented last week at the MWC 2014) has given a lot of trouble to their owners.
Having the terminal with permissions root is something that not many dare and if you read on some forums that you can not as easily as one would expect.
Today we are going to present a fully guided tutorial for do not miss. The tutorial is for Windows, and we recommend using between versions of XP, Vista, 7 and 8.'s Latest system from Redmond, Windows 8.1, is still struggling for this process.
How to root SonyXperia, Rooting on Xperia Z1
First of all say that we are not responsible for any damage that may occur to your terminal with misuse or follow our tutorial.
We recall some of the files that must be downloaded to your computer before you get to the mess. I'll put here and you need every step also to have everything at hand.
  • Having a unit of Sony Xperia Z1 with Android 4.2 version. If you have upgraded to 4.3 to make the downgrade you must follow this tutorial.
  • Important to have all installed Android SDK (Android are libraries for developers). They are very heavy and you must have the most current get settled all that you can within the SDK application.
  • Flashtools : Here you will find the most updated files. Remember that you must download it all in one folder.
  • Last version Stock for Z1: We recommend this download to hang that is called 'Central Europe'. It is the last official ROM for the Z1.
Z1 camera
  • Kingo Android Root : This is an application for your computer which help rooting the terminal.
  • Latest version of Backup-TA : This will help us to make a backup of data you do run some applications own Sony Bravia Engine like. This is just in case we want to unlock thebootloader later.
And now let's go by parts to be able to root our Xperia Z1 safely.
If you feel better, make a backup of all the information in the internal memory to lose nothing, since in these cases it is best to do a full garbage collection.

De-brand (operator goodbye)

This step the hype jump if you have the factory phone free, since this method only serves to remove everything installed network operators and many of us nags too much.
Thus we will have our very close to the factory free terminal. The IMEI no fools.
  1. We will need the latest version of Flash-tools . We have it here .
  2. We then go down to the last official ROM available for Z1. Now for the stock free of Central Europe, is the version we 14.2.A.0.290. Here you have it .
  3. After Flash-tools have already downloaded the previous ROM and install the first and then copy the file from the firmware (it's a FTF file) in the "firmwares" folder where you installed the Flash-tools. Usually C :/ flash-tools / firmware /
  4. Now something very crucial for the future of our operation. Our Z1 must be recognized by the computer . To do this, having already downloaded the file and installed Flash-tools, we see that in the installation folder we have another called "drivers." We go to the Device Manager and see how your computer will have an unrecognized or stockings with yellow asterisk device. We will update the driver by selecting the content in this "drivers" folder of which I spoke above files.
  5. Taking the terminal detected correctly, and within the application Flash-tools will press the "Flash" icon (the black lightning top left). We ask in which way we want to flash and choose the "Flash-mode" option. still not mobile connect .
  6. We will see a window something like this: Image
  7. If you look to the left will have a list of files located in the "firmwares" folder as noted above to copy the downloaded ROM. We will choose the ROM that we dropped . And in the right column mark the DATA, CACHE and APPSLOG options to make a factory reset total. Remember to make a backup of all data on your memory with this erases everything.
  8. Then press "Flash" and telling us a window appears that we connect the Z1 in "Flash-mode" mode . Our mobile is not connected and proceed to turn it off altogether. And go into "fast-boot" mode. How? Very simple. We will press the button "volume down" and then connect the USB cable to the computer (not release the volume button until a blue LED was not on top right of the terminal). As we see movement in Flash-tools as we well know.
Stock fastboot mode
When the process ends, your mobile will only start and we will have the latest version stock officer free factory terminals.

Z1 Root

Now comes the big moment, for all / as been waiting all this time: we will root our Xperia Z1 finally.As we said at the beginning, follow to the letter the instructions and do not despises a single moment, we are not responsible for any damage that you may cause to your terminal for not following good guidance that you provide. Let the mess.
  1. First unload the application Kingo Root Android from here .
Popup window to give permission
  1. After downloading the file, execute the file called android_root.exe thus beginning an installation on your computer.
  2. While we installed on our terminal unplugged and still proceed to enable USB debugging in the settings menu and "desarrollor Options".
If this option does not appear you down all over "About phone" you should go to "About phone" and will press several times on the "Build Number" option.
It will start a countdown until he tells us, "You're a developer." We return and discussed option is active.
  3. Once the USB debugging enabled , run the King Root Android application installed on your PC beforehand.
  4. Connect your phone to the PC in normal mode and on the main desktop.
  5. Then will click on "Root" and the phone will restart just like that.
  6. Once it rebooted fully mobile, we give permits to ADB Shell accepting and rebooting the terminal again.
Once again go to the main desktop box application and we will see that we will have the application installed SuperSU. The open and update the app libraries.
The issue of opening the boot-loader is still not solved in this terminal, as the camera stops working to unlock this section of the device.
Sony has said it is working to fix this mess. So the other day I teach you how to unlock the boot-loader of the Xperia Z1 and you can use various options currently not available to just be an administrator or root the phone.

How to create a bootable USB from any ISO

Cool USB Logo

Creating a bootable USB has become very common. More than once it has happened to us that we have been to install an operating system and could not find the installation disk or was shredded.

Even we can also come to think it's silly to buy a CD to save an OS and not to use it more often. Because of all these situations and many more were invented boot-able USB.  Well, today we will learn how to create one.

USB Memory
For several years now we can take our Platform in our pocket or keychain. I mean keep our Platform USB ready to install on any PC.
And although, as I said, is nothing new, many people either do not know how to copy it or deny it for the sake of the CD, today we show you how quick and easy it can be to install an operating system on a USB.
Previously did a tutorial in which we explained how to install Windows 8 from a USB , but following this tutorial we can install any OS and any distribution. Not just the typical Windows or Linux, but also can install Backtrack, Ubuntu or open-SUSE, to give some examples.

What we need

  • A formatted USB.
  • A bootable ISO image of the operating system you want to install.
  • The program UltraISO .
  • A BIOS that supports booting from USB (Although for several years, all support it).

How to create a bootable USB

1. 'll start installing UltraISO and connecting our USB memory.
Two. Once installed, I opened UltraISO and we select the image you want to copy to the USB.
Three. we click on Boot and select Burn disc image.
Screenshot UltraISO program
April: Upon previous step a window will appear. We seek paragraph unit and select the drive where our memory is mounted USB and finally click on Save.
May: Done! We already have our bootable USB with the OS ready to install.
Now we can take our favorite operating system in our jacket pocket ready to install in the situation that you least expect.

How to install from USB

1. We insert our USB, if any expelled. We turn off your computer and enter the BIOS.
The process to access the BIOS varies depending on the computer, but usually when you start a small legend appears at the bottom showing the key you must press to access the BIOS.
February. Section Boot USB select first choice , or specifically the USB that contains the OS as I do.Depends on the BIOS screen varies, but they are practically the same. Save and left.
BIOS
March. Once your PC is started, begin installing our operating system . From here we just need to follow the steps you indicate the installation guide.
After following these few steps, and we have learned to create a bootable USB and install it . We can see that it is extremely easy and has many more advantages than a Live CD, plus you can use it for any OS.

How to convert Windows Phone 8.1 to Windows Phone 8 on Nokia Lumia

Nokia Lumia, Windows Phone 8.1 Latest
Windows Phone 8.1 has been the center of attention during these weeks. Despite only being available version for developers , many of you have upgraded to this preview.
This version of the operating system and finally promised has not disappointed thus integrates many upgrades and customization.
But most of them are happy with the upgrade, there will be people who wish to return to Windows Phone 8 . Whether problems with battery life , others with the camera or simply for the stability Windows Phone 8 provides.
If you tried or do you think we should say that restoring factory settings does not work to perform thedowngrade phone. All that will achieve is to erase our data.
To make the downgrade is necessary to reinstall the firmware and we can do it in two ways, via Nokia Software Updater or Nokia Care Suite . Before carrying out the process, we must consider the following:
  • These methods work only on Nokia Lumia phones.
  • Both methods will erase all your data from the phone.
  • We should make a backup.
  • Have your device fully charged.

Via Nokia Software Updater

The procedure to do the downgrade with NSU is the same as upgrading to Nokia Lumia Black. Download the program , run it and connect your phone. NSU will recognize it and give to update, upgrade and wait patiently.
As you can see in the video, the procedure is very simple, if you have doubt, you can check out our article where we explain step by step , follow the instructions and you will have Windows Phone 8 on your device again.
While many have worked for them, not us NSU helped us make the downgrade , I try to make two phones and in none of the cases resulted. Both phones were Nokia Lumia 920.

Via Nokia Care Suite

Similarly happens with NSU to make a downgrade by NCS , continue the same steps to upgrade to Nokia Lumia Black.
We have to install the program, download the firmware you wish to use, connect the device and install. Can you visit the main article where you more detail the procedure thoroughly.
I finished flashing
In the case of Nokia Care Suite, the downgrade worked perfectly , I realized what a Nokia Lumia 920 with a firmware for Nokia Lumia Black, a free version for Mexico.
As previously stated, these procedures are carried out under the responsibility of the conduct , despite rarely occur, may damage the device, so if you are not sure do not do it.
As I write this article, I'm updating my phone again to Windows Phone 8.1. In spite of that the battery lasts less and the resolution of the camera is concerned, is a great upgrade and I loved it.

How to install downloaded applications in Windows Phone 8.1 Store

Micro SD card install, In Windows Phone
With the arrival of Windows Phone 8, I get a method by which we could install applications on our phone from SD card.
Thus, we could save the download application using mobile and space involved in the memory of the phone during installation.
But only apps downloaded from the Windows Phone Store, and maintaining connection to the store because it was checking if we had permission to install it.
Yes, all holders of a terminal that does not have SD card, could not make that method.
With Windows Phone 8.1 , the possibilities have increased and it is now possible:
  • Install applications on SD card through our terminal to save space on the phone memory.
  • Move installed to SD card or SD card applications being able to free up the phone and installed applications.
But can we still install downloaded from Windows Phone Store applications? Well the answer is yes, and that point has also improved. Now not only the owners of an SD card terminal can perform the installation , but also those with only internal storage.
To do this, simply copy the downloaded file to the root of the phone or the root directory of the SD card.
sd card windows phone
Once you've copied the file, we'll go to the Windows Phone Store.

Click on options and see an option that had previously not now appears to install local applications. If we click on it we get a list of applications and is compatible and can install it we can select.
Windows Phone 8.1 store download

It is a good method if we unloaded a heavy application as it can be a game in hand even gigas and we have to install it on multiple terminals.

Now available even without SD card terminals. Of course, we can only install applications we can install from the store itself .
You knew this new method to install applications?
