Samsung has got surprised for Galaxy S5 owners by means of already launched the official Android 5. 0 Lollipop update for that smartphone (build model LRX21T), SamMobile reports. But the download for the new software is only available for the very limited amount of users in one region until now.

FROM EARLIER Video: This is what Android Lollipop looks like on the Samsung Galaxy S5

Because the publication notes, Samsung has unveiled its first Lollipop just 31 days after Google released a final Android 5. 0 version, a record to the company with regards to Android update releases to its flagship devices. Samsung disturbed Lollipop updates for many of its best smartphone, with SamMobile currently demoing Android 5.0 prerelease versions to the Galaxy S5, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 3 & Galaxy Note 4.

The Galaxy S5 update should be only available for "SM-G906F" version for the handset right now, and only to users in Belgium, Samsung should roll it out to convey other European countries in the future.

It is actually not clear at this time when Unites States. Versions of the Samsung Galaxy S5 can get their official Lollipop versions although, It is most likely that Galaxy S5 items sold through carriers both in the Unites States, and in international markets is going to be updated much in the future than unlocked items.

If you guys wanna get LRX21T installed on your SM-G906F, So basically you can either await Samsung to release it out over-the-air (OTA), or you can follow the installation manually by the instructions available at the source link, where you guys can also access a large collection of Android Jelly Bean 5.0 screenshots taken for the Galaxy S5 as well as a video showing a final preview version connected with Android 5. 0 Lollipop for the Galaxy S5.

  1. And still you can instal it after rooting your device which is not so hard to do... However I'm wondering why Samsung is behaving this way. Maybe they are not sure if their version od Lollipop is stable enough and releasing it on just a little part of market will not couse much damage? (actually it makes belgian people guinea pigs)
