Two billion paid by Facebook to repurchase Oculus VR  have been much debated in recent weeks. Between the sometimes strong reactions from the developer community , with Markus Persson in mind, and skepticism on the part of consumers, concerned that Facebook could do with this technology, this acquisition has not really had a good press.

But Sony, which arose as a competitor Oculus VR with its Morpheus project revealed there is now one month , all this appears to be good news. Indeed, Shuhei Yoshida, president of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios sees this as a fact that lends credibility to virtual reality.  "We wanted to validate the work Oculus VR announcing the Morpheus Project and team Oculus VR knew what we were working. I think they we expected  before making their announcement, it could be  just between us and Oculus, but now Oculus was bought by Facebook and this helps us validate our efforts. More people will hear about virtual reality, "  explains the manager to our colleagues' s Engadget.

If Oculus VR and Sony deliver probably some competition, the Japanese manufacturer also wishes to carry out work in conjunction with other market players, particularly to share advances in latency or motion detection. Shuhei Yoshida claimed, it is in the interest of everyone to achieve to solve problems that could cause migraines and nausea users.

But at this level, the quality of helmet is not the only factor to take into account that the game is also, certain rules must be followed by developers, as explained Palmer Luckey cofounder Oculus VR during Steam Dev Days .
